A brief history of Sneinton and its Market......
The beautifully refurbished Sneinton Market Square is sandwiched between Gedling Road and Bath Street. Opposite Victoria Leisure Centre (look for the clock tower)
Sneinton Market is only a few hundred metres from the city centre. Just walk down Hockley, straight over the cross roads at Huntingdon Street, and up Gedling Street, heading for Victoria Leisure Centre clock tower.
The market is only a short walk from the city centre, making it easily accessible via public transport. However buses that pass nearer the market are:
The red line 43 and 44, drop on Huntingdon Street at the bottom of Hockey.
The blue line 39 which drop on Bath Street.
The lilac lines 24, 25, 26, 27 all drop on Huntingdon Street at the bottom of Hockley
The Pathfinder 100 also drops on Huntingdon Street at the bottom of Hockley.

If driving from the North of the city, head down Huntingdon Street (A6008) and just before the National Ice Arena take a left onto Boston Street and then a left onto Brook Street for the closest parking.
